We are building the incident intelligence layer for production teams.
Lumina started from a simple conviction: production problems are not isolated alerts. They are incidents spread across machine signals, visual evidence, operator notes, SAP / MES records, and the memory of people on the line.
We connect those fragments into one governed investigation workflow — so teams can understand what happened, why it happened, what to do next, and what should be remembered next time.
The founding team
Built by people who felt the problem first.
Lumina was not created by random SaaS founders. The team combines robotics / AI, hardware / edge systems, and enterprise / ERP integration — exactly the three layers needed to solve production-line incident intelligence end-to-end.
Holds an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering & Robotics from TUM, with extensive experience at OnSemi, Mouser Electronics, and Rohde & Schwarz. Specializes in industrial automation and edge AI technologies.
Holds an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering & Robotics from FAU Erlangen and serves as a Space Robotics Engineer at the German Space Agency (DLR). Has contributed to projects at NASA, BMW, and Mercedes-Benz.
Holds an M.Sc. in Information Systems from Uni Bremen, with extensive consulting experience at SAP followed by specialization in SAP systems at BestSecret GmbH. Expert in ERP/MES integration.
Together, the founding team connects the three systems production intelligence depends on: the physical line, the AI layer, and the enterprise operating stack.
Our journey
From first conviction to production intelligence.
Lumina is being built in public momentum: from an industrial AI thesis to a working incident intelligence platform shaped by startup ecosystems, infrastructure partners, and production research.
Lumina's origin
Started in October 2025 around one conviction: production teams should not solve the same incidents from scratch every shift.
NVIDIA Inception
Support for industrial AI systems combining visual evidence, edge deployment, and scalable model infrastructure.
Google for Startups
Access to cloud, AI, and startup infrastructure as Lumina prepares for line-level pilots.
TUM.ai ecosystem
Early startup feedback, pitch exposure, and access to one of Munich's strongest AI and entrepreneurship communities.
AWS for Startups
Cloud foundation for secure infrastructure, scalable incident workflows, and future production deployments.
FAPS partnership
A deeper bridge between production-systems research and real industrial AI deployment.

Careers
Build the intelligence layer
for the factory floor.
We are a small, focused founding team working on a problem that matters. Every person we bring in shapes the architecture, culture, and direction of Lumina. We hire people who understand production before they try to improve it.
Work across the platform: incident workspaces, agent pipelines, evidence flows, and live production views. You should be comfortable owning features end-to-end.
Own the integration layer between Lumina and real factory systems — OPC UA, MQTT, SAP, MES, historian. You need to understand factory data before you connect it.
Design the interface layer between human operators and AI agents: how evidence surfaces, how approval gates feel, how memory objects are presented.
Own the path from pilot to paid deployment. You should understand manufacturing operations and be comfortable navigating plant managers, IT, and procurement.
Don't see your role?
"We are building something that production engineers will rely on when a line goes down at 3am. That standard shapes every design decision we make."— Lumina founding team, Munich
Work with us
Pilots, research, partnerships.
Whether you run a production line, lead an industrial AI lab, or build factory technology — we want to talk. Lumina is being built from the ground up with the right partners.
For manufacturers dealing with repeated incidents, quality drift, or fragmented investigations. We want to understand your line before we solve it.
For labs and institutes working on industrial AI, robotics, production systems, multimodal perception, or trustworthy agents in constrained environments.
For system integrators, OT vendors, MES/ERP providers, or industrial technology companies looking to connect with Lumina's incident intelligence layer.
Press, investors, events, or a question that doesn't fit any of the above — reach out directly and we'll route it to the right person.
Bring one incident. We show the command layer.
See how Lumina turns your evidence into intelligence that prevents the next one.
